During the event, a panel session "Megacity of the Future - Territory of Electromobility" was held, dedicated to the introduction of electric propulsion technologies in Russian regions and the development of electric transport production with presentations by many experts and invited guests.
Natalya Nikipelova, President of the TVEL Fuel Company of Rosatom, on the basis of which the production of lithium-ion batteries is organized and the Electromobility project office operates, called the creation of a full-fledged electric propulsion industry in Russia, which would include import-independent production of electric vehicles, passenger and commercial electric vehicles, a national task. .
Plans were noted to launch a plant for the production of three-in-one electric drives (inverter, gearbox and electric motor) by mid-2025.
An exhibition sample of the first generation electric drive was presented at the forum; the next generation model is being developed as a highly innovative Russian-made product.
