Our company has a vacancy for a Head of embedded software department!

With over 40 years of scientific and practical expertise in magnetism and its applications, our R&D endeavors delve into cutting-edge realms of applied magnetism. These encompass e-drives and machines boasting exceptional efficiency rates up to 98.5%, innovative e-motor wheel designs, scientific instrumentation, non-volatile gas valve solutions, and magnetic systems for controlling gastrointestinal endoscopic capsules.

AmpereMagnete LTD, a proud member of the AMT&C Group located in Troitsk, Moscow, is dedicated to developing e-powertrains for vehicles. Our portfolio includes e-motors, inverters and other integral components crucial for the seamless operation of electric vehicles. Additionally, we specialize in software and control systems tailored to e-drives.

Currently, AmpereMagnete LTD is seeking dynamic and knowledgeable specialists in applied automotive electronics and controller programming to contribute to exciting new projects. These projects focus on the development of Vehicle Control Units (VCU), Thermal Management Systems (TMS), Battery Management Systems (BMS) and other systems for electric vehicles.

Responsibilities:
  • Oversee a team of programmers, including architects, designers, testers, or provide remote consultancy on designated topics with a fixed monthly commitment.
  • Lead the software development process, architect embedded software, and devise algorithmic solutions for implementation.
  • Manage work planning and conduct effective meetings.
  • Prepare comprehensive documentation.
Requirements:
  • Hold a higher technical education, preferably in electrical engineering or computer science.
  • Possess experience in product development and delivery, with a background in R&D and product deployment for state clients.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in software development for electric motors, pulse converters, and chargers within the automotive sector.
  • Proficient in microcontroller programming, specifically in the C programming language (e.g., ARM, Gigadevices or similar platforms), and system engineering in Matlab Simulink.
  • Exhibit traits of responsibility, initiative, and attentiveness.
